About me

My story

My professional career started when I earned my MSc in Electrical Engineering from Universidad Metropolitana (Unimet) in Caracas, Venezuela. I began at the university’s EE labs as a junior engineer and later joined the faculty. I was privileged to become Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering at Unimet and was eventually honored with the position of Director of the School of Electrical Engineering.

Following my time at Unimet, I enjoyed a successful career outside of academia as an Engineering Project Manager and Engineering Director.

In a parallel journey, I began studying various styles of Tai Chi and Qigong (ChiKung) at the Pachi Tanglang Martial Arts Institute (PTL) in 1992, under the guidance of Grand Master Su Yu Chang. In addition to Tai Chi, I also trained in Bagua (PaKua) and Baji (PaChi). I am proud to hold a Tai Chi black belt awarded by Grand Master Su.

Around 1998, my Bagua instructor, Dr. Roberto Orozco, MD, introduced me to stress management techniques that combined medical science with Tai Chi principles taught at PTL. I was deeply impressed by the effectiveness of these techniques in reducing stress. So impactful were these techniques in my own life, that I have endeavored since to share these benefits with others. Over time, I have expanded upon Dr. Orozco’s teachings, integrating my experience as a university instructor to develop a comprehensive stress management workshop. I have delivered this workshop to organizations such as Unimet, Getronics, and EVBox. Furthermore, I have provided personalized coaching to numerous individuals, helping them effectively manage stress in both their professional and personal lives.

In this new chapter of my career, I am committed to sharing the benefits of stress management with a wider audience.
